Your one-on-one sessions with the Nysa AI are sacred spaces. The platform operates on the principle of strict confidentiality.

No Human Access: Our engineering and support teams cannot read your private chat transcripts. They are obfuscated in our database.

Ephemeral Context: While Nysa remembers key psychological insights to aid your journey, conversational filler and highly specific personal anecdotes are abstracted into broader themes rather than stored verbatim.

Session Isolation: Every chat session is treated as an isolated event regarding data transmission, minimizing the surface area for any potential intercept.

Two tools on this site work without an account at all: the birth chart calculator and the attachment style quiz. Because you can use them before signing up, it’s worth being exact about what they record.

The birth chart calculator: the birth date, time and city you enter, along with the chart calculated from them, are saved so that the chart is still there if you decide to create an account. No AI reading is generated for a visitor without an account.

The attachment style quiz: when you finish, we record your two scores, the style they produce, and your individual answer to each of the twenty questions. The answers are kept, not just the scores, because the scores alone can only say “anxious” while the answers can show the specific tension worth talking about. This happens whether or not you go on to create an account.

What is never collected here: no email address, no name, and no account is required for either tool, and neither one sends anything you type to an AI model. The quiz is scored by arithmetic in your own browser.

If you do sign up: the chart and the quiz result attach to your new account, which is the point of keeping them. If you never sign up, the record stays unclaimed and is covered by the deletion rights described below — write to us and we will remove it.

Duo Mode allows partners to explore their relationship dynamics together. However, we maintain strict digital boundaries to protect individual autonomy.

The Digital Firewall

When you connect profiles in Duo Mode, a “digital firewall” is established. The AI mediates the space between you, but it will never reveal your private, individual chat history to your partner. The insights generated in Duo Mode are based only on shared data points and intentional disclosures made within the shared Duo space itself.

If you discuss a personal fear or shadow aspect in your private session, the AI will not reference it in a Duo session unless you explicitly introduce that topic yourself.

End-to-End Encryption at Rest: All database entries, including chat logs and synthesized psychological profiles, are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

Transit Security: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is secured via TLS 1.3.

Minimal Data Collection: We only collect the data strictly necessary to provide the service. We do not track your location, and we do not connect your Nysa profile to external social media graphs.

The core of Nysa is our AI model. We have strict ethical guidelines governing how your data interacts with our machine learning infrastructure.

No Public Model Training. We do not use your personal chat transcripts, psychological profiles, or emotional data to train public foundation models. Your intimate struggles are not used to make generic language models smarter.

We utilize isolated, private instances of language models. Any fine-tuning done to improve Nysa’s empathy or therapeutic alignment uses anonymized, aggregated, and heavily sanitized datasets created internally, completely divorced from user data.

We adhere to strict data protection regulations globally to ensure your rights are preserved no matter where you reside.

GDPR & CCPA Compliant: Our data handling processes are designed to fully comply with European and Californian privacy standards.

Law Enforcement Requests: We require valid legal process (like a subpoena or court order) before considering any release of information. Because of our encryption and obfuscation, the readable data we can provide is severely limited.

Your data belongs to you. You have absolute control over its lifecycle within our ecosystem.

The Right to Forget: You can request complete account deletion at any time from Settings → Account. We ask why you’re leaving, which you can answer or skip, and you are signed out immediately. Your data is then held for 60 days and permanently removed after that, so a change of heart in the meantime is not too late — write to us and we will restore it, or simply sign back in.

Exporting Your Data: You have the right to request an export of your synthesized profile and journal entries in a readable format.

Retention Limits: If an account remains entirely inactive for 24 months, we will notify you and subsequently purge the associated data to minimize lingering risk.
